September 19, 2013
Covington County, Alabama- This past Friday the 13th was definitely unlucky for three alleged drug traffickers from Florida.
Drug Task Force assistant commander David Harrell said the three men croseds paths with the Florala Police Department at approximately 5 p.m. that afternoon.
“Florala Police Officer Paul Adams made a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by William Corey Forrest,” Harrell said. “Officer Adams spoke with Forrest and the vehicle’s passengers, Michael Edwin Day and Eramis Ian Preyer. After noting that the three men seemed unduly nervous during the stop, Officer Adams walked his K-9 narcotics partner, Bella, around the vehicle.
“Bella indicated the presence of narcotics, and the subsequent search of the vehicle revealed large amounts of LSD in the trunk and on the passenger’s side floor board,” Harrell said.
Adams then contacted DTF agents, who responded to process the scene.
“LSD isn’t something we see on a regular basis here in Covington County,” Harrell said. “I appreciate Officer Adams’ work in this case as he helped remove a large quantity of a very dangerous narcotic.”
Forrest, 21; Day, 20, and Preyer, 23, all of Lynn Haven, Fla., were each charged with drug trafficking and possession of a drug paraphernalia, booked into the Covington County Jail and held on a $203,000 bond.

Since when could drug dogs detect the presence of LSD?

dogs are NOT typically trained to find LSD as the guy said it isnt something they see alot... however they can hit on chemicaly smelly stuff like medications. i highly doubt the dog knew anything was in the trunk. either the dog alerted falsly to get a reward lol or its been known that cops will make dogs alert so they can gain access to areas without a warrant. what do you think is more likely ?

There's a good chance the dog didn't indicate shit. They just knew something was up and brought a dog out and regardless of what the dog did or did not do, they were getting their pig faces up in that whip.

My point exactly. Cops train dogs to signal for drugs even when there are none. Whoever said before there were other drugs in the car, there's a good chance that would of been mentioned as with most busts in news mention even the smallest amount of other things found
What I'm saying is, dogs don't smell LSD. But the cops, with suspicion, will trigger the dog to alert so they have probable cause.
However, I'd like to see how this should, because I know it will, hold up in court.
I'm sure they will say there must of been latent odor of drugs that were present in the vehicle in the past that led e dogs to alert, and even if not, it's all over with anyway. Anytime they bring a dog in, you better believe your getting searched whether you have anything or not. And unfortunately, its their way around illegal search and seizure every time. No doubt.

I've been released without search after a dog failed to detect drugs in my car. funny thing is, I had some. pills though
i just keep my car piled high with shit in the backseat like i live out of it. once cops see that shit they become too lazy to search me

"After noting that the three men seemed unduly nervous during the stop..." aka "I don't have any reason or suspicion to search or question you but this is my way to try and legally gain probable cause." Very similar to the, "There was a burglary in the area and you fit the description of the suspect." I fucking hate cops and their lies. They're desperate to do anything to get a bust even if they have nothing to go on. I was pulled over once and illegal searched. I even watched a cop lift the leash on a K9 near the rear of my car so that the dog was being choked and it's front legs were airborne and it was struggling just to breath. During this time, it happened to scratch furiously on my trunk because it was panicking and it's legs were struggling to support it's body so it could breath. The cop said, "You see that, it just hit your trunk. I have probable cause." The asshole clearly did it on purpose. What a fucking psychopath.
BTW, I was clean cut, had no criminal record, he had no suspicion to go on whatsoever, there were no drugs or weapons in the car and there haven't been ever, and I spoke respectfully with him when we talked after he had pulled me over. He was just a dick (and most likely had a very small one).

I just don't see how anyone should be pulled over and have LSD found. That's just stupidity on their part. Sad, but still...

I always feel bad when people with LSD or mushrooms get busted. So many lives could have potentially been impacted in a positive way. But NOPE. The drugs that have positive impacts on lives are ceased and destroyed.

Probably not alot of real LSD coming from Florida to Alabama. Considering its hard to get in Florida and highly priced, why smuggle it out of state? Probably going to be LSD bust number 100 that ends up not being LSD. I always thought this shit was done after a roadside reagent test. Apparently they charge you with LSD and make you prove it's not in court.

Charge you with one thing and make you prove otherwise in court....
Amazing how our legislative system continuously finds a way to wipe their ass with our constitution even with it being on display and locked up under glass. Fuckin crazy.

It's about $400 a sheet in Sebastian, Vero Beach, Key West, Tampa, Miami and in abundance with the old hippies. I'm not sure where you got the idea there's no LSD in Florida being all the way in Canada... The youngers may have NBOMe but people middle-aged and up have the goods. rumor I always heard is there's a family in FL that supplies all the states around it in addition to local. but they're a lot smaller than the family out west. They might not even be around anymore actually. my dad says in the 80s it seemed like all the blotter here in Ohio was from Florida. there was a different print every weekend.

Based on all the posts on sites like this. Lack of arrests in Florida for LSD. When i type in "LSD in Florida" in google it's all negative. I might be in Canada now but I am own property in the state, want to buy it? Anyway the family is a bunch of bullshit, i discredit anyone who spews that nonsense. I never said anything about the 80s either. Even Texas had lots of LSD then. This wont be LSD it will nbomes, and the drug scene in Florida is shit. You rule for fake weed though.
