Id request, possibly cyanescens?
    #18863056 - 09/19/13 01:21 PM (10 years, 5 months ago)

Hey I'm new to gathering and went out today for a few hours on the east side of the Oregon Cascades, in the low foothills. Towards the end of the day I was getting lazy and didn't take pictures of these two before I picked them, but upon inspection realized they were the only two that might be what I was looking for... They were growing on a riparian trail near decaying leaves and wood debris. I took the spore prints in the field and only left the caps be for an hour so they are not very defined. After I got home I started taking another spore print which I left over night and is much more defined. The print is looks charcoal, almost black to me. There hasn't been any blue bruising though. Any help IDing would be much appreciated!

Not sure you will find cyans on the east side of the cascades

Cyans bruise blue... Easily to recognize the bruising

Well it's too soon to go hunting . I've been out and around the past few days &  haven't seen much. When season starts we can see wussup with a hunt.
