Head Light (Low Beams) Do not work in either driver or passenger side .
Head Light (Brights) Work on both flawlessly .
No blown Fuses .
Changed both bulbs to no effect .
Is the next logical Step to replace the dimmer switch ? Or the Combination Switch ?
Turn signals also work well .
Internal Console lights ect.. also work well.

Combination switch or the head lights relay. Check the latter in particular, as it seems the most likely culprit.

Is there a small information screen in the center of the interior that displays that the light is out?

It says "check head lamps" and "head lamps ok if on" .
I went to autozone and put in some new bulbs to no effect . I just bought this thing for cheap so I'm not surprised about having all these minor problems .
The Hood cable just went on my too

It's usually that information center that fails on the older explorers BUT it could be the head lamp switch, the multifunction (turn signal) switch, powers/grounds, anything. What are the bulbs missing to work, power or ground?

make sure they are mixed up. one time I got my car back from repair shop and they had the blinker bulb mixed with the brake light bulb causing neither to work..

If it is the Multifunction switch do you think going to a junk yard is a bad alternative?

Yes, it's called the "lamp out module" or LOM, That's the most common malfunction...

I had a blinker out along with all of my interior lights for years. Recently took it in to a place that said it was a wiring issue that they can't remedy. After taking it into a Buick place (I have a LeSabre) they were able to connect the inner-wirings and I now found out that I had nine lights out, which they fixed all of.
You may have a wiring issue in your car. Changing the bulb would do nothing on this front and you may have to take it in and let them know to look into the wires, considering most checkups don't bother with that at all.

Thanks for your post , I really am only interested in fixing the car myself . I'm done taking my car to a mechanic , to much money I just don't have these days . Which is why I bought a ford . I know if a monkey in my country can build me a "Wednesday" car I sure as shit can fix it .
