I've never done this in my entire life.
I don't see the point, you are being tested on your knowledge, so just study and pass the stupid test.
Actually I lied, there was this one English class I had in high school where the teacher lost control of the class. It's horrible thinking back on it, but we used to prank him and talk the entire time. I tried to be a little more respectful, but half the class was the "trouble" kids in my grade. Anyway, during tests people would just get up and walk over to someone else and copy their answers. I think I did it once.

Definitely did in high school, my trigonometry teacher retired mid year when I was a sophomore and was replaced with an incredibly naive first year Jehovah Witness moron... This teacher would allow us to continue our test the following day if we wrote "not finished" on the test So I'd copy down all the questions I didn't know the answers to on some scratch paper, write "not finished", and then go home and solve them and write in the answers the following day...

I've never done that. When I was younger I didn't care about grades, and now I'm in school because I want to learn. I'd only be cheating myself, and I'd also be putting people at risk by not knowing & understanding the material.

Yah, I was Psychology major, and it was virtually impossible to cheat on exams in my University... We'd get empty Blue Books and have to write essays worth 40% & 60% of our grade respectively for midterm and final... All the questions were handed out with the syllabus on day one.... You'd have to prepare for all of them, 4 questions for midterm, and 8 questions for final, and one would be randomly chosen for the midterm, and 2 randomly chosen for final.. Then you'd have to work in something from outside of the course w/ footnotes into the essay to get an A... that's how exams worked...
But I cheated the system in high school for the sheer amusement of it all the time.... I had this really flakey German teacher that decided to have a capitalistic system for earning our grades where he'd print us out money and give us that and we'd buy our grades at the end of each week... I counterfeited it by buying the same colored paper and using a scanner to print out my own and then sold it to anyone who needed to buffer their grade... eventually he caught on and started putting a watermark on the bills

Hell yeah!
Basically throughout my entire education up to and including my first year at university.
Techniques ranging from hidden notes, scribbled up calculators, graphic calculators, to entire books hidden on my lap. I was quite the cheat-master if I may say so.
After that the exams stopped and we had to write essays. Never cheated on those.
I got busted once with a sheet of French words. Stupid cause I already had an 8 out of 10 and I should have left it at that. Those last couple of words cost me dearly

I felt that was appropiate

i've never cheated on exam, and i wouldn't, i also couldn't, because i'm a law student, and if you get caught cheating, or even plagiarising, or any kind of dishonest offence in your life, then its a big problem when it comes time for you to apply to the bar for admission.
theres a scare story of two students from my university who plagiarised on a first year marketing essay, who when they later graduated 5-6 years on and went to apply for admission, were denied and banned from the profession when it came to light that they had plagiarised and not disclosed it completely in their application.
they are really anal about things like that. any kind of dishonest offence = big pralems

Had a class in business college, Credit 101 or some shit. Turns out the entire grade was from weekly quizzes and a midterm and final, all multiple choice. My bro took the course the semester before me and he kept every quiz and the midterm. You got the test back to go over it but then you had to pass them back in (small question bank I guess). My bro just kept his tests and never got caught. He gave them all to me and sure enough, the tests were all identical. I intentionally got a few wrong each time to not cause suspicion but still, I was tops in the class. Had a couple of close calls as the teacher made references about asking me about a certain concept when others were having trouble understanding them. I was lazy. I showed up for class but I read none of the material, did none of the homework, never studied, just showed up for the tests with the answer key! Well, turns out there was an academic award of $1500 donated by some bank for the top grade in this class and I won it. I was supposed do some big thank-you letter to the bank but I never did it, just cashed the check and spent it.
I don't regret it, this was a long time ago when I was young and stupid.

Cheating on exams is like intentionally shorting your toilet paper supply. Shitty smelling outcomes are what is likely to come of it.
