Hey guys, this is my first post here, first of many hopefully..been a lurker for a while and mycology just gets more fascinating. So I know I don't have all the info for a 100% id, but that's ok, I was in a hurry so didn't pick any I'm just wondering if I should keep an eye out in future, I saw the mushrooms yesterday and today they had been picked so obviously they excited someone else too. Looks like they would be good for practicing spore prints out etc too
They were just on some grass near a flowerbed on a main road. The flowerbed had obviously been recently re-soiled/fertilised and the mushrooms were growing in a line from the edge of the bed to the paving, suggesting that the new soil had spilled in that patch, prompting the growth. Any help is appreciated...was also wondering if the small mushrooms were the same as the big ones or it was 2 species growing side by side. Thanks in advance!

Maybe Marasmius oreades
Next time try to capture all features of the mushroom to try and get an id, take a picture of the cap and another picture of the gills/stem so we can see the whole thing.

But really with all those guesses.
Psathyrella candolleana is right on the money. Thats what i would call it + "or something closely related"

It appears to be one species all fruiting from the same mycelia. All the different characteristics are from aging and exposure to the micro climate that surrounds them.
