ready to birth? hard to tell...

ok so i need to know if this cake is ready to birth. first pic is obvious. its fully colonized and sucked away for the sides of the jar.
but the second pic of the bottom still has some brown left. iv seen some pics of the bottom of the jar still having brown and they say they birthed them.
it dosent seem to be advancing anymore or at least very slowly. i have four jars but the other three are far from ready (used much better syringe on the fourth.) and yes i know i should have used 1/2 pint.
thx

the top is just dry verm. made a thick layer on top to be safe.
i should have mentioned that i figured it might be confusing. all substrate has colonized up to the dry verm.

The bottom is not completely colonized. Should have used half pint wide mouth jars. They colonize very quickly and are less prone to stalling on the bottom

if its stalled should i try and fruit it and maybe take off the uncolonized substrate? or i leave it be will it colonize eventually? can u weight to birth a fully colonized jar without disadvantage?

If it is stalled try flipping it and hitting it on your palm to get the bottom away from the glass. If you do this leave it flipped because you have disturbed your dry verm layer. Give it a few days and if it is still stalled just birth and try to cut off the uncolonized portions because at that point what do you have to lose
