Best way of storing

My friend was wondering if some people could tell him about some preffered methods for storing cracker-dry shrooms (containers, temp., etc.). Any tips will be appreciated.  :eyemouth:

what i was ganna do is do the beef jerky approch, and make small sacks of dissicant and throw it in whatever container i put the shroomies in, to make sure no moisture remains, could be a start?

Best way after cracker dry in my opinion is storing them in vacuum sealed bags. You can buy a vacuum sealer at walmart.

In a glass jar with the lid screwed on tightly and some desiccant on the bottom of the jar.

I throw all my dry mushrooms into a food processor and chop them up to a extremly fine powder. Then I put it in a herb jar I have that has a really good sealing lid on it. When I want to take a dose I weigh out the powder, put it on a shot glass pour it in my mouth, then chase it wit fruit punch. It only taste nasty for 1 second. I been tripping like every fucking day lately I got so many damn shrooms I started giving them away. I ate at least an ounce dry in the past 2 week, I been tripping like ever other day :lol:

O yea, I just harvested my second flush. They are all dried now and the weight is 1 1/2 ounces.

Doesn't the dessicant touching the shrooms make them taste like dessicant?

put a screen in between the shroomies and the dessicant. and if the dessicant is in a package...like maybe wrapped in coffee filter material they wouldnt touch the dessicant...and if you use silica gel i dont think that it tastes like anything at all anyways.
