Hot boxed a praying mantis (pics)

The other night, we found this praying mantis climbing near the porch, obviously stalking other insects which are always drawn to the light. I captured it in a small container and found a moth and a decently sized green leaf bug to feed to the mantis.
We were all sitting around the bong taking hits, hoping the mantis would eat one of the other bugs, but it wouldn't 'lock on' to them. A friend of mine took a hit, then got up suddenly and blew the hit of smoke through the vented top and filled the container! The occupants flipped out and went berserk trying to escape the smoke, but they just didn't know any better; short moment later, and they were totally chill.
Later, the leaf bug was discovered half-eaten (only its large wings and a leg were left); definite munchies. The moth was laying on its back quivering and died later; weed's first death?
The mantis definitely survived, though. I've had it in a terrarium with plants and sticks from outside, and I have used ultraviolet bulbs to lure moths and good, meaty camel crickets at night. She actually just produced an egg sac on the mesh top of the tank, so now I'm researching and looking forward to raising a swarm of baby mantids in a few months!

I'm thinking about smoking those babies out once they're born. They have a tendency to cannibalize each other, so I wonder if that would make them calmer or hungrier.

Lol aren't praying mantis under some sort of protection from being killed?
Not sure if that's true or not

OP, do you think you'd get high if you were hotboxed?

If I had been in there with that mantis, I'll bet I could catch a buzz.
