OK thanks. Identifying Stapelias can be difficult without seeing the flower, I would call yours Stapelia grandiflora or Stapelia asterias.

I think it can be cutting of some sort epiphyllum succulent.
Maybe.. I bet I have seen this kind of cactus somewhere, it grows as branching new sections.
Someone who knows best could be give more accurate information, but I just guess it's somekind of epiphyllum species.

ok so the guy that previously owned the plant told me it makes big pretty flowers but they smell like rotting corpses/death!
I did a Lil googling and with the suggestion from Tangich of Stapelia grandiflora, I believe that he made a correct ID because Stapelia asterias doesn't produce a dead body smell. from what I read any wayz...
so I'm pretty stoked to see/smell this thing flower!!! seems like a unique addition to my ever(daily) growing and expanding garden!

Sometimes there are plants in our garden we don't know exact species.
For example, I have echinopsis what I don't know for sure what it is. It's my first cacti I has obtained, mother plant has been dead few years ago but at the moment branches from it are given to many friends, relatives and I have also kept it myself.. Also found it's good to use as grafting stock..
Growth speed isn't as fast than trichocereus but success rate of grafts with them are greater than grafting to trichocereus.. I don't know does it just pure luck or not but I like it as stock plant. Probably I get more natural looking peyote scions instead of very green plump up lophs with appearance of water balloon or something. Just made few grafts more to these.. When they are attached and I see growth, I will update pics here. Then I should have almost 20 grafts of peyote buttons..
I am planning to few dozen peyote grafts growing with various stocks, cereus, trichocereus, echinopsis, blue myrtle etc.. Whatever works. Also it's good information to share what plants can used to graft.
I have also done trichocereus seedlings for graft stock to small 1cm peyote button, fun to do some research.
That is tricho stock but I have stock plants I don't know exact species of them.
About you say smell of the flower.. I know probably my native language name for the plant then.. But I am not sure cause flower of the plant I know smells like corpse are very big. Cannot translate more further than "corpse flower" but I am not sure is it the same or are there another plants too with flower smells like rotting flesh and rarely even flowers.

The aroma just takes it a way from the incredible looking flowers that they have.
There are a few lovers of stapelia's here. There is another one that looks much like a stapelia but I cant remeber what it is called atm. I think Karode collects these.
Cheers Got

There are so many wonderful and varied stapeliads, Pieranthus, Duvalia and Caralluma are some of my favorite genera. Fortunately, they are extremely rare to buy in my country, there is one online vendor from Italy specializing in stapeliads that has amazing variety, up till now I have exhibited enough willpower to not order any. But they do fascinate and attract me immensely.
