Accurately identifying phalaris arundinacea

can anyone tell me a sure-fire way to identify phalaris arundinacea.. the pictures on the internet differ so much its crazy!

hahaha no one ever answered this??? Thats cold. the only reason I stumbled upon it is because I just googled the same Q. If you ever found out how to properly identify PA please do explain. Thank You!

Thank you for posting the other links I found the first link after another search on google It led me to the description of P. Arrundinacea on Mycotopia. As far as bringing back old threads sorry to pee in your cheerios... I guess I should have just PM the fellow who asked the question in the first place.

It's all good. It isn't really that big of a deal either way. Plus, if you find some P. arundinacea seeds, :pm: after pics and I wouldn't mind trading.

I saw that one of the forum sponsors, Worldseedsuppy, is sell these seeds on eBay and I was wondering why. What is the value of this plant? Is it purely ornamental?

I just took some cutting of what I believe is P. Arundinacea in its early stages. I found it while looking for good host trees for morels. To answer your question about the value of the grass it can be used to extract NN DMT/5 MEO DMT. I dont think the yield is as good as a M. Hostilis DMT extraction but it costs next to nothing to use P. Arundinacea.
