Mushroom help

I am fairly new to this site so please bear with me. I have wanted to do magic mushrooms for a while now and I read up as much as I could about them, habitat, time of year, specifics. I went out a walk onto grassy cattle grazed fields and after about an hour or so came across the mushroom I have attached in photos. It was growing on a grassy slope where there was sheep and cow poop but not on the actual poop itself, of course. It was by itself which made me believe it perhaps wasn't a lib but I have read counter reports that claim this doesn't always mean it isn’t one. It was a light white to brownish in colour and when picked we noticed it had a very wavy stem. It hasn’t bruised blue but it does have the classic purple/brown colouring at the edges. There is just one point which concerns me – no real visable nipple. There is something there but not what i’d say was obvious. Could this be due to it being quite young? It’s about an inch or so in size and i am currently doing a spore test, hoping to see purple/brown print. I trustyou guys know your stuff so that is why i picked this website. Sorry to sound so noobish but i just want to be sure. I do also trust there are no deadly poisonous LBMs that grow in fields in the UK? Thanks guys hope someone gets back to me.

Its hard to say weather it is a Psilocybe semilanceata, or Panaeolus/Panaeolina. or something else. I think your chances are good. but try to find a friend with a good camera, or an Iphone, you can take good enough pictures with one as long as you focus it on the mushroom. You dont sound like a noob, not a bad ID request. Better pictures helps, and remember a picture of the underside of a mushroom is really helpful for ID too.
There are few species in sheep/ cow pastures that will make you sick, that being said, thats the common ones. sometimes you will find some other stuff that could be poisonous, but nothing besides small Galerina/Conocybe that look like a liberty cap. but they can be separated from Psilocybe due to the gill color. Often you can see the spore color of the gills.
Try being as specific as possible about the colors of the gills of the specimen you showed pictures for. Go out, find more, and post more pictures. You can make up for bad focused/quality images by having more specimens to look at of the same species. But if you took really good pictures, then we can ID in far less time, with far greater certainty.
So: Dont eat that specimen, as it wouldnt produce any effects anyways (only one mushie, even if it were a liberty cap.) Look for more Better in pictures, make sure they are in focus and pictures are taken of the cap, gills, and base.
Good Luck

OK thanks Joust! I could try and get a clearer picture of it if you think its worth it? The under gills are sort of a brownish/slight purple. I think it would be betterto post another pic of this as my descriptions may be different to others and people see colours differently. But thanks for your help and speedy reply

Well it is likely Panaeolina foenisecii or Psilocybe semilanceata. At this point i would try to find more and post pics of them.

Well its that time of year, and whatever you have is close enough to a lib that it has me questioning. Your habitat is prefect as well as the time of year. If you havent found one yet, you will
