Hey guys, so spring is here in the south, and i expected my salvia plants to be going well by now. Only one problem, the growth on the plant does not look right..

The leaves are so small and pale and wimpy and the almost have no veins.
Anyone knows what this is?

Well, the plant used to be healthy, but after i cut it back this winter this has been the only new growth.. So small? Doubt that is sunburn. It doesnt get that much sun.

It's fine. It's just putting on a lot of new growth from the remaining growing points left after trimming. Similar to how a cannabis plant regenerates after you revegetate it after flowering. Give it a month or Two for the new growth to grow into stems. I would hold off on the fertiliser for now, don't want them too crispy like the growth below the new growth.

How big is that pot? Looks kinda small. Also why did you cut it back? Could have just grown it indoors.
Cutting started in winter:

Mine gets morning sun and then its in the shade but still in a warm spot.

Nice work ! One that baby gets a big bigger you can make infinite number of new plants. A friend let has go unattended for three years, and it took over his entire back years, becoming a psychedelic jungle with no beginning nor end to be found.
