possible P. cinctulus / ID request
    #18853308 - 09/17/13 12:09 PM (10 years, 5 months ago)

Hello all together,
I found these fungi in Germany, at an altitude of 96 m NN. I found them in the woods in the most north part of Baden-Württemberg.

The blue thing is a scalpel, the scale is 0 cm to 6cm.

The caps are 3 cm to 4,5cm in diameter.

The gills seem adnex.

I hope the pictures and the description are enough for a precise ID.

Kind regards
baser0pper

EDIT: I found these fungi growing under an acacia tree, the specific species is unknown.

Psathyrella species.

Pan foes are not renowned for growing in woodland.

Well, even though I found these fungi in woodland, the specific place where I found them was a clearance.

They're still psathyrella dude, typically in my experience they grow in sandy mulch/ leaf litter.

Pan foes grow in lawns and grassland.

If your looking for magics I'd suggest searching p.semilanceata and it's habitat.

Learn something new everyday.

Always wondered why they are

commonly called the  "mower's mushroom".

I did look up the habitat of semilanceata. I do also have a good location, but today was just casual mushroom hunting with my parents.
And I found them by chance
