Looking for pictures of dried Psilocybe cyanescens and Penaeolus cinctulus, or after they've been "printed", just to make identifying a little easier. Any key things to look for or help is appreciated. Thanks

Why do you need pics of dried mushrooms. That won't help you.
Use the search function and google.

Try posting pics of what you have dude .
I will warn you it is incredibly difficult to I'd dried shrooms though, they all look similar especially your typical 'magic mushroom' .
Good luck though.

You are quite correct. But it also begs the question of why your drying mixed specimens together

I'm new to mushroom hunting, but i thought it'd be fine to put them all on one large piece of paper to "print" them... Wish i had a camera so i could post pics. Looking around for a camera, will post pics ASAP.
I'm only "printing" one of each kind of mushroom i've found, but like I said, they look different the next morning (letting them print all night) and was just hoping for a couple of pics of Psylocybe cyanescens and Penaeolus cinctilus AFTER "printing". Just for a little extra reference.

She just says, "If you do anything stupid, I'll make you wish you were dead." ... I don't think she's kidding, so i just play it safe :P
What i've mostly been looking for, however, is Amanita muscaria (Fly Agaric). I live in Alaska (Kenai Peninsula) where they're supposed to be prevailent, but I haven't seen a single one all summer
[second part has nothing to do with thread but any amanita lovers out there, feel free to comment]

I think that P. cyanescens only grows in the southeast part of your state where it is a temperate rainforest. As far as I know Panaeolus cinctulus and Gymnopilus speicies are all you are going to find. Also, it is probably about the very end of cinctulus season that far north if not after the end. Good luck.

Awesome but I may still have some luck looking for amanitas... I remember seeing them all over the place in the past, but now that I'm actually looking for them, I can't find a single one. Too late maybe... Bah, guess i'll stick to the icky sticky greenery until next year. DOESN'T MEAN I CAN'T KEEP RESEARCHING

Where is the most northern report of Psilocybe cyanescens... MO says its southern BC. I would be a bit surprised to see them in Alaska, but there are so many collections that are never posted to MO. and on top of that no one ever puts the right location. theres one that shows all of canada lol. Stamets says it occurs in southern Alaska but i want to see the collection, or at least know more about it before i consider it factual.
