1st shroomery Post - Does anyone have a diagnosis for the above pics? I think its cobweb mold but i'm not sure, this is my first grow. After i put in FC, casing of verm/coir, 3 days later i got rings of green, started as dot then started ringing. Did patch center but now big ring.
FC is shotgun tek, perelite (miracle grow unfortunately) 12/12hr lighting, 85% humidity misting 3-4x a day, FC in closet but have small comp fan 1ft below FC blowing air around.....all containers have been in FC for 4 days. If its mold can i remedy it somehow?
Thanks in advance for any help!

That is trichoderma, get that out of your house asap, it may ruin your current and future grows if you don't. I wouldn't even attempt to save it.

Thank you spade for the reply...
Just disposed of the container. Ithe mold had rooted deep into the substrate. Underneith it was a dark nasty mold, no chance.
I really hope my fc isnt contam...guess ill have to wait and see. I dont see anything other than what appears to be little bits of substrate poking through my other casing layers. If anyone has any suggestions on how to minimize potential mold between now and fruiting it would be appreciated :-)

It's hard to say whether or not it may have affected the other trays but if you have decent fresh air exchange there's still a good chance they'll be fine. If not you probably wouldn't even see the mold developing on them for a couple weeks.

Just for the record, that mold invaded two other cases in my FC and rendered them useless. They showed no signs of substrate poking thru the casing and they just sat there while my 1 tray, the only tray that i had, fruited. Not the greatest fruit, little spotty but its going on its second flush now, at least its not all for naught. Even the few, relative to how many shrooms i was hoping for, is ok because i loooove my mushrooms :-)
BTW the 1 tray that fruited was GT and the con tamed trays were thialand golaith.

Leads me to believe your syringe was bad, but it could have been your sterile procedure also.

Yeah like I said it'd take a couple weeks for mold to spread. If they were contaminated before that they were probably already contaminated when you took the pic and you just didn't know it yet.

Well, i glove boxed (pretty much replicated RR video) when i nocked up and did them one after the other so i suppose it could have been the syringe since all my goliath trays went bad.
Thing is, before i cased the suckers, i did not see any signs of mold on the substrate so thats confusing and goes against the argument that the spores inside my liquid spore syringe were bad, unless im missing something. I did notice however, that the goliaths, while colinizing in my terrarium took longer than the GT and did not colinize as completly into the rubbery cylander that they should be....I used RYE and the GT had a fuller and complete colonization.
If the mold did spread maybe it was just conicidence that the GT was resistent to it.
Like i said though, the GTs are sproutin and im dryin so im a happy camper :-) Just wish i knew what REALLY went wrong before in order to avoid it in the future.

Sometimes Trich won't sporulate until after spawning and before it sporulates it's white like the area around the green there and can be mistaken for mushroom mycelium.
