so my plan is to put a arm hole on both wide sides of the box thinking it would be more comfortable and easier to work in. is there a reason you guys keep the arm holes on one side of the S.A.B. ?

I guess just because its kinda hard to be all, "cowboy" stanced while inoculating?
I dunno if my arms would reach comfortably around that box, into the sides, then back in the middle.
Almost everything Ive done in mine required 2 hands being really close (one holding a jar while the other nocs it with the syringe) and it just seemed way more natural and ergonomical to go in from the front vs each small side.
I mean unless you have Dwight Howard arms or something.

It won't be easier to work from both sides. It is already awkward enough working in an SAB, and going from both sides will make it even more awkward. Plus, it will be extremely difficult if not impossible to reach to the back or front end with any sort of ease while keeping the air still.

My holes are spaced 18" apart on center, on one side.
Do something similar for comfort.

Mine is a 110qt Sterlite tub...to do a G2G transfer I have to tilt the bottom jar a bit, but nothing major.
With practice it becomes easier and easier, and now is like second nature to me.
I really only have to tilt the last 2-3 jars tho...when the master jar starts to get really empty.

The 2 armholes are shoulder width apart.
Every SAB will be slightly different based on your body size. I simply put the tote in to the position I would mostly be using it in. Then, I put my arms straight down to my side and then just bent at the elbows so my hands were straight out in front of me. I eyeballed were my middle finger lined up with the tote and made that my holes' center. This is the best way to figure out what the most natural place for the holes should go.
Some people don't realize how important it is to make the center of the holes about shoulder width apart. This gives it a nice comfortable feel.
Putting the arm hles on opposite sides will be awkward.

I would suggest shooting a bead of gorilla glue around that adapter.
The 2 plastics will bond and become one....making a very good, durable seal.
