    #18852641 - 09/17/13 08:15 AM (10 years, 5 months ago)

First time picking so just want to clarify the following:

Species 1: (we think its a liberty cap)

Habitat:
Grass land in an open area next to a very nice po

Gills:
light, cream colour

Stem:
5cm long - it is very thin, about 2mm diameter - the stem is a light cream colour - texture is soft and the stem is hollow

Cap:
largest is 30mm wide - the other 2 are around 20mm wide

Spore print color:
browny, earthy grey

Bruising:
no bruising

----

Species 2: (we think their wavey caps)

Habitat:
On rotting silver birch trunk in a wooded area

Gills:
limey, browney yellow

Stem:
about 5cm long - quote thick, about 5mm diameter - the stem is a yellow, brown colour - texture is soft and the stem is hollow

Cap:
largest is 50mm wide - we have picked a reasonable quantity of these and very from 50mm to the small ones being about 20mm

Spore print color:
browny, earthy grey

Bruising:
no bruising

--

Thanks, we will appreciate your feedback a great deal!

Likely Psathyrella for both. Neither are psychoactive.

Was wondering that myself. Looks kinda flimsy, but you're probably right.
