Is there anything I can do to help these caps thrive?

So I have come across these pretties at work where there are no other psychonauts to swipe them away from me. Now, if I leave them, will they grow large? Or should I do something to the surrounding area? Or should I just pick, be thankful and move on? Id love for this to be a frequently viable spot but it will be what it will be also they are growing on bark, I didn't realise liberties did this?

He isn't saying they aren't big enough. He is saying hat they are not the correct species. They are not Psilocybe semilanceata(liberty caps) they are a species from the genus Mycena.

They are not active at all. That is exactly what we are trying to tell you. you cannot trip off of them unless you sprinkle them with drops of LSD or something.

Well I am majorly confused because I and my friends pick them as they look in the pic (left) and trip every year. How did you identify them as non active. Attached is a photo off images, a liberty Cap, which to me looks the same I do not mean to seem ignorant and I appreciate the feedback I would just like to know how to progress (I.e the identification process which disregarded these shrooms). Thanks.

They do not look remotely similar, have white gills, and woodchip habitat immediately eliminates the possibility of liberty caps. The human brain is amazingly powrful, what you experienced was pure placebo, possibly with a pinch of muscarine poisoning. If indeed you picked this species.
