Need help with a Eastern Florida ID.
    #18851322 - 09/16/13 09:11 PM (10 years, 5 months ago)

I'm fairly new to this whole forum, and I would like some help on ID'ing some mushrooms that have a habit of growing along the sidewalk of my neighborhood. I figured they probably aren't active, but any help would be nice.

Habitat: Grass along sidewalk. Random sprouting, along with perhaps 3-4 others a couple inches away.

Gills: Gill color is creamish-dark brown to brown-blackish brown when dried.

Stem: Whitish, pretty fragile, would split when picked.

Cap: Light brown-cream. When wet: 1cm to about 3cm wide.

Spore print color: A darker brown color.

Bruising: Slightly darker color, but not noticeably blue.

Location: Middle Eastern Part of Florida. Suburb grass.
