Check out this thread that I just spent the last 10 minutes searching for. The rooms in that house are so fucking badass.
That is what I would want my tripping room(s) to look like.
Here is a teaser pic for those of you who are too lazy:

That place is nuts. If I tripped there I would just turn off everything (except that lighting) and just walk around for the entire trip just admiring it all. Amazing.

Dang..you guys have come up with some good ideas ... My budget will only be about 800 bucks after the room is complete. Since I am not as creative as most of you I was just thinking a bad ass surround sound with plants, recliner, fake fireplace and maybe a projector.

Floor to ceiling mirrors covering every inch of all four walls, and mirrors covering the ceiling and floor (preferably with no gaps, one large mirror for each surface). Uranium glass decorations, blacklight (and a regular light), paintings, mp3 player with headphones, mattress with blankets and pillows, a small inconspicuous bucket, a towel.

I remember that thread! It's fucking amazing. Thanks for bringing it up again.
I would definitely go for a good sound system, that laser star projector, some nice posters, comfortable seating. Sounds awesome.

a decent sized boulder of granite or some such, always feels nice and cool and is awesome to touch when tripping.

I think I will check into some black light stuff but it can't be up permanently since no one knows I do shrooms except for gf. I could imagine hosting a party for employees and they see this stuff

Nice big and well-designed rug
Painting easel
Guitars (amp if electric)
a very comfy recliner
an end table
a coffee table
record player
I guess that is sort of just my bedroom, but these make a great hanging area. Also, really liking the wooden walls idea.

A landscape painted across the walls with like some cliffs and trees and a waterfall, with some wildlife here and there
Then do like a starry night (van go) on the ceiling and stick some of those glow in the dark stars to go with it
Have some house plants around
Some comfy places to chill maybe like a futon or hammock, bean bags whatever
Gotta have a computer somewhere for music and visuals or whatever
Dude I would probably get a ferret or a beaver or a Tasmanian devil (domesticated of course) or something exotic like that to live down there because that'd just be trippy as fuck
An isolation tank
Musical instruments and stuff to draw/paint with
I dunno that's about it. I like to trip outside anyways.
