ID Request - WA state peninsula

Habitat: Growing in the woods. Mostly on leaf litter. I was especially impressed with the number of these guys. I have never seen so many mushrooms in my life. We went on a 2 mile hike and saw thousands.
Gills: White/tan
Stem: 3 inch hollow stem.
Cap: Convex and umbonate. White and tan.
Spore print color: White/light tan
Bruising: none

These are Gymnopus, they are very common on the west side of washington, dominate the summer and early fall, i forget the species name though, it is my least favorite and i dont want to give it any respect by knowing its name. Freaking ass of a species.

I had never seen those, cool mycelium btw I really like how it leaves that cloud around the stems on the #2,kind of reminds of sweet cotton
