First signs of mycelium growth or contamination? Help!

Exactly one week ago I inoculated a popcorn tek jar with some spores and left it totally by itself for exactly one week, full of eager and exited to take a look at what progress has happened I encountered what you see below.

Based on my amateurish opinion, that would look like mycelium, but I am very unsure about that, as this is my first time doing this. However if I refer to and use this thread here:
https://mycotopia.net/forums/fungi-magic-mushrooms/97236-redboy-potato-malt-agar-jars-g2g-myc-syringes-mycelium-milking-super-inoc-3.html
as guideline I would assume what I have got, is mycelium, just scroll to the second picture on that page.
I would very much appreciate if someone could clarify what this is. Thanks

Good stuff! Grains look a little wet, but I have had that problem with corn before.

Thanks man, I hope you`re right. I kinda regret though that from my first encounter with that white stuff I thought nothing had happened, and shook it around a bit, I hope I didn`t start anything bad by doing that. What do you think, would my somewhat mild shaking today possibly have caused a possible futuristic contamination. Of course that is up to time and patience, but is there a possibility that I may have fucked up by shaking it around a bit today?
Thanks,

Looks more like green giant canned corn than popcorn. Why not just use wbs or rye. Why popcorn of all things?

I have had some monster fruits off popcorn, that were duds when it came to ingestion. I will never use popcorn again. But that is just me.

Why didn`t you like popcorn? Anyway, could shaking increase the risk of contamination after inoculation?

Those jars look soaked. I either see bacteria or mycelium laden water in the first 2 pics. Could just be crap coming out of the corn. Not sure which at this point, but water is a breeding ground for bacteria.

That was also what I suspected, crap out from the corn could be it, but I am still not sure, because it kinda looks connected... I know I was unfortunate on the amount of water inside.
I have this dilemma though, either I am gonna try inoculating again or just leaving it to itself and see what happens in another week. What do people think about this?
What would be the best thing to do?

If it is contaminated I will try something different, if not I will wait another week or try inoculating it again. Should I try inoculating it again or wait another week.

I think you should do neither. I think...

I say that because those popcorn jars you have look screwed and instead of starting over with popcorn use rye or wbs. They work much much better than popcorn. Popcorn sucks

I`ve got your point, I will probably try something different if they fail, but at this point that is still yet not a fact. Mod edit: No flaming. Is it contaminated.
Damn you are hard to communicate with, geez....

Wow! You won't get any help with that attitude! As a matter of a fact all you'll get is a ban from this wonderful website. I was just trying to help you out. I can't believe you would act like that. Oh well

OP, looks like you're the arrogant one -- too arrogant to take good advice when it's coming your way for free. The knowledgeable folks above recommended that you neither re-inoculate those jars nor bother waiting another week. They consider both of those options a waste of time and recommended a third. Why is that so hard to take?

Yeah and he said I was not answering his question about whether or not they were contaminated when in this post I had said they look screwed

There you go again, being an arrogant stereotype!
You should really work on that arrogant attitude, it'll get you nowhere in life.
