Damn... Jumped the gun, now what

Well after reading much info, and I'd like to think a successful 1st grow (On 3rd flush) of cakes, I decided to try rye berries. I spent all day tracking them down and all the necessary items to complete the process, only to come home, research more, and start soaking enough for 24 qt jars..
So now they have been soaking a while, and I realize, I only have 1 pressure cooker that can hold 7-10 jars.... uhh shit I still will have all the rest soaking!!
So my question is, what should I do with the rest of the soaking rye while I PC the others which will take a lengthy process... Can I just keep my rye soaking til all is complete, or should I go buy a bunch of PC's and learn from my mistake, if it is a mistake.
Also I set it up for a 24 hour soak, because I have a long day at work tomorrow, so... damnt!
Appreciate any advice, and appreciate all info relayed here, you all helped accomplish this with your sharing of knowledge-My 1st attempt

Just prep it all and put it in jars and put the jars into the fridge until you can PC them

Don't wait to long though, if you don't have much time tomorrow I would at least try and sterilize 12 of the jars and do the rest the next day. Should look into grain 2 grain transfers for next time. Waiting on 24 quarts to colonize seems like a long time.

If you wait too long all the nasty stuff that the PC takes care of will start to grow but the fridge will slow that down.

Hmm, I am still pretty new, still learning / researching as much as time allows. That is what I was planning after these colonize, the reason so many quarts is I have 4 strains, and was gonna split em up 6 per. I am going to go look up g2g, but as of right now with nothing but my 3rd flush cakes going, all I can do is start over right, and with the 4 strains, 6 qts would be the way to go right? Plz correct me if I am wrong I really have no idea, 1st attempt with grain, 2nd attempt overall.

Ya your fine with that many jars, it's good to have extra any ways just incase couple get a contam or bacteria. They will just colonize at different speeds is all. Don't start your grain over If that's what you mean!! Just after you noc Those jars up read some more. Here is a bunch of good up to date info by Frank Horrigan if you haven't read it already. http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/17897163#17897163 With g2g you make one fully colonized qt jar into 7-10 qt's

Thx Prince
Ahh yea MrMAC the benefits of g2g as far as multiplying jars is what made me want to do it, basically an unlimited supply of jars forever, thats great! Thx for the link, been reading all day, and will be all night now too.

You could always leave the extras soaking for a while longer too. It is suggested to soak for 24-48 hours I believe, so simmer and dry half of it then PC while the rest soaks longer.

I came here to recommend this. I've pushed it a bit over 48 hours and everything has been fine.

Never soak more than 24 hrs. 12 to 18 hrs is sufficient but 24 is max. You can pc grains and not use them for up to a week without any issue. Of course it is always better to use them right away
