found theses lovely amanita's or fly argic today on a trail down by the atlantic ocean im not sure what they are  ,

wow cool mushroom , never seen those before they look a bit like a fly agaric ,only pale yellow and obviously a lot bigger

it was huge id say 6 inch diameter at least , ive been seeing a lot of them on the edge of feilds and trails along side pine tree's

I would imagine they are deadly.

I doubt they are fly agaric, but they definitely seem like an amanita.

They're definitely an Amanita.  Fairly sure it's not A. muscaria, but I could be wrong, and it would be cool to get a proper id from someone who knows!

I don't know shit about Amanitas :lol:

They are an Amanita muscaria the yellow ones are also fairly common and wide spread, I don't have time to look up the variant and I don't remember right now.

A. muscaria(the red ones too) often get up to 10" diameter and can even be quite a bit bigger than that.

Awesome find!!! The egg shaped bases make me think deadly but the rest of the amanita features look to be there. Im no expert just going by what ive seen. :mushroom2:
