ID Request 2013 Scotland

Hi, we are after some help in identifying some mushrooms, found in Scotland a few days ago. We have never been out hunting before and aren't too sure about what we found. I think we have 2 different kinds. Any help would be much appreciated. Please let us know if we haven't provided sufficient detail. Thanks.

The above mushrooms were found on a grassy field with cattle and a lot of dung. They bruise black. Close to a woodland area. Below are some pics of gills and spore print.

The 5 mushrooms (14-18) below are lighter in colour and different in shape. I am not sure what spore colour is - don't have spores yet. They were found on grass with no dung around, close to where we found the others but not on the same field. They bruise black and the stems are flexible.

14 - 18 are Panaeolina foenisecii.
You also might have some Panaeolus acuminatus in there, those print jet black.
Most are Psilocybe semilanceata.
Nothing you have is toxic.

Hi, thanks very much for the identification. We went back to the same spot and picked some more of the ones that you said were mostly Psilocybe semilanceata. These ones were larger and some a bit darker. Two of us are sure they are the same despite small variations. Here are some pics of our latest find. Please let us know if anything is toxic. Many thanks.

First two pictures are all Panaeolus acuminatus. Most of the others look like Panaeolus to me as well, could be a couple of semilanceata in there.

hmm none of these mushrooms in this thread look like Psilocybe semilanceata to me
iv been picking them on and off for 20 years , iv not as technical as identified spore prints and perhaps Alan Rockefeller is more experienced than me being a trusted identifier and with 32,000 posts you would think ,
I personally wouldn't pick any of these mushrooms , one or 2 are debatable but yeah cant see that well

I Alan probably meant to type "none" but instead brain-farted out "most". He is probably the member with the highest rate of correct identifications. Not that he never gets any IDs wrong, but I don't think he would have done so on such an easy ID. However I personally make typing errors like switching words out with related words if I don't think what I'm typing requires much of my brain's direct attention, so it's not much of a stretch to imagine someone else doing the same.

Libs don't grow around Alan's way, and photographs of Pans often do deceive.
