Ahh ok. Yeah no horses just cows. When I lived in Louisiana having a cow patch owned by family would be invaluable :frown:. I'll keep checking nearby parks. I just know everyone else is too lol. I was at a popular fremont park yesterday morning and saw an older gentleman with a dog and big white beard, looked like an old hippy , and he was leaving as I was entering. Pretty sure he grabbed whatever I was looking for as all I found were hundreds of in actives :frown:. Next time I'm trying a canyon covered in trees with a creek flowing down. Hoping for better luck because in sure no one is dumb enough to go walking down there haha

Here's my aunts ranch. Hoping to find some actives there sometime.

It doesn't look like a good place for actives.

Looks like some fun hunting grounds though! I'd definitely check it out if I had access to it.

I did. Spent 4 hours walking up and down the hill. Saw the biggest agarius I've ever seen. Was about 12-13" in diameter! Was an eagles nest high in a tree with lots of piles of bird poo due to a flock of wild turkeys! Saw about 15 deer laying on a hill, until they saw me lol. Then the cows saw me and rushed me... I thought I was literally dead.. Tried to call my aunt to ask if they were curious or aggressive haha. She didn't answer... So I just stood motionless for about 15 mins until they got bored and left me alone. Saw newts, salamanders, and a corn snake  was a great trip! My calves hurt like a mofo the next day though and had no actives :frown:

Just walked by city collage and saw lots of non actives including a beautiful blewette through the wood chipped soil. I plan to hunt tomorrow
