    #1884409 - 09/05/03 10:39 AM (14 years, 8 months ago)

hello, i was reading this topic Incubation: Overheated? Incubation: Overheated?

and the other day my inoculated jars hadd a temp of 32degrees C, and in the tread someone suggested that that kills of any healy spores in my jars, is this realy the case? and if so, should i

1. re-stelelise the jars and inoculate again
2. throw everything out, clean and coock new subtrate and inoculate again?

I think the peak is at 27, and it's better to be a little below than a little above. The growth rate drops off faster after optimal.
