Successful first attempt. Today I picked these

That was essentially the first real "flush" I want to transfer these cakes to bulk in a monotub. Should I just use them now and crush and mix in with substrate for bulk.. or how should I go about this. Maybe just keep flushing until these cakes resources are exhausted? I really want to bulk though.
Also... Could I just scrape spores from print over sterilized bulk substrate in the monotub?
Thanks.. Lovin the product and hobby

I would take spore prints first of all
I don't think using these cakes for bulk will work out well. You can do it with fresh cakes, but these are already weakened from being through a flush and breaking them up and introducing them to a new substrate could lead to contamination.
I know it's tempting to just take a shortcut and try to barge into bulk growing but if you are going to do it you should do it right. Get some fresh cakes and crumble them into an easy substrate, like coir which is easy to pasteurize and prepare.
Good Luck!

It's not just that, the mycelium has consolidated. Op if you want to learn about bulk and watch it start to finish click on the grow along link in my thread.

You got all sciencey on me, I admit I am lacking in that understanding, thanks for pointing that out!
