How would you react to a future self?

If you ran up to yourself one day , from the future , how would you react to something like that ? Would you listen? Do the opposite? Even believe it? Maybe it's a prank. Well , I would first e pissed because I already know that any changes I make , I will have to at some point , when things are so bad that I absolutely must , go back and tell myself not to do so and so. Maybe when the time comes ill just not go back and see what happens and how it would feel. Would I be able to feel the world around me as it changed from some distant event in the past? I don't know but i do know that time travel is a dangerous thing.

I kinda wish I could met a future self and know EVERYTHING that happened in my future. It would be ultra helpful. I'd sit down with me and drink a beer, smoke a joint, talk, etc. I would love it!

I don't think I would like to know what happens. Then it wouldn't happen because in my mind its there so my actions are always going to be affected by the knowledge subconsciously. And I definitely wouldn't hang with myself . I would probly get annoyed pretty quick by that asshole and take all his beer and ditch him at a bdsm club.

Lol as if killing yourself wouldn't be an immense time paradox anyways.

This.
I definitely wouldn't kill him - how bad would that suck? You know you'll get to time travel in the future but when you do it, you'll just kill yourself.

Lol my past, strictly religious self would look down upon my current self.
Identity is constantly developing. I see it like stream of consciousness....the past thought connects to present thought, which will lead t future thoughts. It never stops.
So, to answer,
my future self may slap my current self with some of my decisions, but that's what makes me human. Don't ever remain satisfied, keep changing into something more.
Just like Nietzsche proposed: the future will always have more answers.

Well I would be able to prove to myself very easily that I am myself from the future, just have to explain various situations no one person but me could possibly know and there is an endless abundance of those.
After that would be all ears, granted I argue with myself already and try to follow the rules of debate in those arguments. So anything I say will have to be taken with a grain of salt as much as with anyone else

I probably wouldn't believe that my future self was me.
If I was able to go 2 years back in time to meet a younger version of me I could guarantee you that the younger me would be incredibly shocked by how much I have/will change in 2 years. I don't know what I'll be like in 5 years from now but I'm certain that the person I will become will have his own set of standards and values which I would have never even imagined.
