Another possible new -Non-active Psilocybe from Thailand
    #1884145 - 09/05/03 08:48 AM (13 years, 3 months ago)

At first I thought that this was a Stropharia. They came up by the tens of thousands last year. Unfortunately I was unable to stay longer than I expected to due to an serious illness in my family.

Roy watling examined the species at Chulalongkorn when he visited with me and my colleagues at the University.

He said it was a Psilocybe, either an already known species or possibly a new oine.

Taxonomy is currently being conducted at Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok.

Great find - cant wait for the results as its an interesting looking specimen.
Watling? You could have got someone better than that to examine it  Ask him to get his arse back to Australia and find one of his brown cystidia subaeruginosa!
Its an interesting looking mushroom either way. Bioassay??
