Last night at a huge concert i picked up a galaxy mini s4. no sense in returning it cause theres no numbers on to call anyone. So i decided to keep it. Dont give me bullshit. How do i make it untraceable and disable the lojack in the firmware?

I refuse to believe there's no numbers in it.

Why did you pick it up? and then consider returning it later? Did you mean to steal it or not?

No i didn't . I was cleaning and everyone was gone. It looked new. There was a name on and i searched them on facebook but couldn't find them. I'm an athiest so i don't believe it's wrong to keep a peice of material possession.

Being an atheist has nothing to do with what morals you do or don't hold.
There are plenty of atheists who don't steal things because they know it makes the victim feel bad. Good vibes, brah.

ok agreed but putting that aside is there a chance of getting caught. I live in a third world country and the people here have shit for brains...

If you legitimately found it, then there shouldn't be any fear of 'getting caught'.. Finding something on the ground =/= stealing.

so what you're basically saiyng is finders keepers... How do I prove it you see

You shouldn't have to prove it... The person claiming you stole it should have to prove you stole it.
This is where things get murky though, if the owner can be identified and you refuse to return it, then whether it's stolen or found is debatable.
Worst comes to worst you return the phone to the original owner and play it off as you did everything in your power already to find the original owner.

Hopefully they catch you with the tracking software and cut off your hands, or publicly stone you or something.

As I stated before. There was no way of finding the owner. The phone must have been brand new. It looks that way anyway. And people here are so corrupt if I hand it in they'll take it for themselves.

You said you found it while cleaning, i assume in a VENUE.
give it to the lost and found department of the venue with the disclaimer if nobody claims it in the next week then you want to keep it.
pretty standard lost and found procedure
