You guys must not understand context.

Context: the parts of a discourse that surround a word or passage and can throw light on its meaning

Or: If the statement has nothing related to what you posted, it must not be directed at you;
If the word in question has a negative connotation, it must in fact be a negative adjective.

When I contract my glutes and push my hips through to lock out a pull my knees do that to an extent on there own. That little hitch a the top was because the bar was slipping out of my sweaty hands if thats what you were refering to. The gym owner won't run the ac unless it's like 85+ in there.

So. I fucking hate going to the gym where I live.

The music is blasting and awful because girls run the counter. As in so loud you hear it over headphones/plugs.

All the machines are sweaty or broke.

An no one puts weights or plates back.

Oh an the locker/pool/sauna/steam rooms are overflowing with gay dudes cruising for dick.

So I said fuck it an bought a total gym. Yup the chuck norris and christie brinkley infomercial gym.

And I gotta say its pretty fuckin awesome. Uses your own weight plus inclines as resistance. Plus I got an upgrade so you can add plates to it as well. Did my first workout on it today an I can tell im gonna be sore tomorrow feels good to get back into lifting.

Because my gym sucked I stopped lifting an started cardio back up fulltime an lost 30 pounds but some was muscle so time to get that back. Ill be posting in here more often now that im back into the swing of things. I was thinkin of getting some kettle bells but dont wanna put any holes through the walls or floor or tv. We will see.

Is there only one gym where you live?  For me there are a bunch around and it seems like everyone who frequents them changes gym from time to time.  I'm about to switch it up here soon myself.

Anyways, I just finished a handful of pecan halves and a glass of organic milk so it's time to go throw some weights around.

I hate sumo pulls, they dont work for my body type and feel super awkward. There a calculator on a powerliftimg site I saw awhile back that calculates what style supposedly suits certain body types better. It said conventional for me and seems to have been right for me at least.

Anyone try the spud deadlifting belt? My forever belt cuts up my stomach or back if
I wear it backwards. Thinking the spud belt might be the way to go.

Belts actually help me.

I tweak my back out way too hard without one.  I went into the no belt craze for awhile and i think it was too hard on my body. Maybe my form is bad who knows but squats and Deadlifts are a whole lot less painfull the day after now

Im 6'0 so not tall but not short, i heard sumo works for taller guys with long legs or something though and that would definitely be me.
