oyster mushroom loss of cakes, and pinning questions

so I have lost 2 more cakes since birthing them an putting them in the FC. Green mold which I am attributing to my FAE being too high and my cakes drying out. I have since adjusted...
So what is going on with my last cake that hasn't fully colonized? Smells great still...
Finally.. do I have my first pins?

Any answers for me? I learn better being told than reading.

Does that mean you'll only learn via video or telephone? Why ask if you're not going to learn by reading the answer

I mean if I try to learn on my own I overload myself with info and then question to much, as opposed to just being told. That's why I joined a forum, particularly this one.

dude... we can't just take everyone by the hand and lead them step by step, having trillions of topics with the same questions. and the way you learn by reading is something you can actually learn and improve. if you take a piece of paper and write down ir order the procedures and things you have to remember, and try to create an overview.

I don't see a cake that hasn't fully colonized... do you have a picture of it?
And those don't look like pins to me, they look like oyster "mycelium blobs" (for lack of a better term). I've seen them before, more often when growing on cakes. Don't know why they do that. Give 'em some time, they might still fruit.

Ok, now those are pins
Those first ones might have been too, now that I look closer. My bad!

Nice! Now like you said, just get 'em as much air as you can.
