So i just spawned to monotub today. im leaving for a vacation on the 2nd of october. assuming that everything goes well and i can fruit on the 10th day, what is the possibility of getting fruits before i leave? would like to have some to send to vacation destination? how should i proceed with this?

You might have fruits within that time but there really is no definitive answer, especially with multispore which is what I'm guessing you're using.

There is no way of knowing exactly how long it is going to take. However, I have seen tubs colonize in 3-5 (typically 7-14 days) days and produce full fruits within another 3-5 days after being introduced to fruiting conditions. But conditions must be perfect for this. Tape over holes and provide ambient light during colonization. After fully colonized, remove tape and replace with loose polyfill while providing 6500k direct light 12 hours on 12 hours off. Also, you must have the correct amount of FAE and humidity during the fruiting process.

How long are you going on vacation for? You might want to make sure you are there for the second flush!

ill be gone for 6 days. i was thinking about...
its ductaped)
a. letting it contam
b. fruiting when colonized
c. start fruiting right before i leave.

normally for me, when things work out, fruiting starts in like 2-3 days. from then its another 3-5 days.

6 qts of spawn for a little more than 1 brick of coir 50/50 mix.

I'm pretty sure that once the tub is fully colonized you should be fine for like a week if you want to keep it taped. Much longer than that and you might be risking contamination. As long as you're sure that your mono is set up correctly you should be fine. It sounds like you already got it figured out though.

C. Fruit it right before you leave(Fan out the tub, remove tape, stuff polyfill tight in the bottom, and extremely loose in the top holes), if fully colonized....when you get back you should have pins/fruits.
