music just happens to show (through lyrics, I mean) the interconnectedness between various thought forms and ideals, and concepts of human relation.

there are themes repeated time and time again in music lyrics, just like are echoed through other writings such as Poems and the like...

art connects people's ideals, basically.

I like pop lyrics... (not gay tweeny pop queen lyrics about rump quakes)

I like the kind that are sophisticated and forreal.

like in this song.

"Don't talk to me in that familiar way
when the keys are in my hand
don't say that everything is here to stay
and I must try to understand
when I'm trying not to look into your eyes
trying not to listen to your lies
trying just to keep hold of myself
oh but it's hard
when you leave me on the shelf

you say that I set a path
for you to follow
and I've already given in
but I only meant for you
to taste not swallow
where I end is where you must begin
so try not to look into their eyes
try not to listen to their lies
try just to keep hold of yourself
oh I know it's hard
when they leave you on their shelf

she's such a sweet girl
free of the taints of this world
think that's a compliment
don't be so full of sentiment
why you worship sweetness
what virtue's there in weakness
being pushed about is nothing much
to shout about I know"

It does,  and it also shows how people across time are asking the same fundamental questions, and struggling with the same realisations etc....

The ship's rising up from the sea to the sky heyeheh Hold on
Just one sorry scream and a desperate cry heyeheh Hold on
Their lives pass before them before they die heyeheh --

The sea yawns around like a boiling hell heyeheh hold on
And souls disappear with the toll of that bell heyeheh hold on
The arms of the sea they are dragging them down heyeheh hold on
And sorrows and sins they are lost as they drown heyeheh --

How strange when you think that the sea was their way;
And a meaningless death is the price they pay
For their living was made from the deep (*i'm pretty sure he actually says "for the deed", but either way. makes sense; and I could be wrong.)
To their people in comfort and keep
Keep all their people and places there
Never to be seen again, never to be loved and their last embrace --
And the kiss has a salt bitter taste

Now all that remains is the deep cruel sea heyeheh hold on
And wreckage of things that used to be heyeheh hold on
No stone marks the place of that watery grave heyeheh hold on
Together they die both the weak and the brave heyeheh hold on

The arms of the sea....

yep.

Why do you question
When there's no answer told?
Plain truth is nothing
You can't buy it when it's sold

Save all your money
And they won't reason why
Why all the worry?
They'll spend it when you die

Don't look for something
Plain truth is nothing,
nothing but the plain truth

You stand and wonder
Just let it warm your skin
Take all the living
Live life and let it win

Plain truth means nothing
Cry, laugh and cry again
You question answers
Born, live and die, Amen

Don't look for something
Plain truth is nothing,
nothing but the plain truth

Why do you question
When there's no answer told?
Plain truth is nothing
You can't buy it when it's sold

Save all your money
And they won't reason why

nope, im not saying that. Most people don't know or think about this much because it's not really important but,

Advertisers divide us into categories, depending on your age, your ethnicity, where you live, what you buy, all this stuff is collected. The music you hear is directed at you. It used to be to sell records, but now the content is delivered to an intended recipient.

no, that is not happening. I mean, well it sorta is... but not in all walks of life, and not in some Babylonian way of like evil and magick. no, it's called "MARKETING"; and it sucks.

just avoid marketable avenues that have been "taken over" if you will, and you'll find plenty of stuff that isn't this weird Magick, that you pass it off as.

simply put, there is bullshit, and then there is the real good and pure stuff. like real effort and musicality and composition and ideals were put into the music; not just homogenized crap.

dude, it's marketing; and you're referring to the kinda upscaling of marketing trends for like the next few years, that's it... it's not even relevant at this point, you'd have to have some sort of "service" with a company or someone, to even have that possibly done. you're talking about like, the future and shit man... not now.

not current marketing data.
