sterile technique in SAB question

hello there
afoaf knocked out 13 brf jars 3.5 weeks ago(his first grow) he lost 2 jars to trich the other 11 are almost 100% colonized at this point so he is trying to improve his sterile technique for the next round
now onto the question...
most people take the foil off the jars wipe it with alcohol and then load them on the SAB, wouldn't be better to wait up until the last second before inoculation to take the foil off? That would reduce the chances of contams landing on you inoculation holes(pf tek) and then said contams may be pushed inside when the needle goes through the verm layer?
anything I'm missing why most people remove aluminum foil way before inoculation, when jars are not even inside the SAB so he contam count and exposure time is higher/longer? I'm a little confused by this (cut me some slack guys I'm a noob in case I asked something dumb )

You should tell your friend to tell his friend to make an account so there is nothing lost in translation. Oh wait, later you use "I?" Now I'm confused.
Your "friend of a friend" doesn't need to take the foil off until "they're" going to inoculate, and "they" don't need to wipe the jar with alcohol.

You're supposed to remove the foil as soon as you remove the jars from the sterilizer. The foil does not stop contaminants. It is only there to prevent the water which 'rains' from the lid of the pot from getting into the jars through the inoculation holes. If you leave the foil on, the verm layer can't dry out as it's supposed to. Wet verm is food for fungi, so contaminants will colonize right through it.
Micropore tape gives an extra measure of protection, and since it breathes it can be left on. Wipe it with alcohol and inject the red-hot needle right through. Re-flame for each jar. Watch it all done in the video link below. RR

I don't have much experience to draw from, but thus far I have kept mine entirely untouched in the same pan they were steamed in until they need to be used... Am I putting myself at risk of the whole "verm layer can't dry out" thing? Would it maybe be better to remove them as soon as cool and have them stay in the SAB or some other relatively shielded place until needed?

thanks RR for answering my question, you are a legend
I never though about the verm layer needing to dry out after pressure cooking to fend off contams, somehow I though it always stayed dry (silly me)
so the optimum procedure would be
1.pressure cook 2.let cool over night with jars inside pressure cooker 3.next day unload pc 4.take off the tin foil and wipe jar surfaces with alcohol 5.load jars in SAB 6.spray down SAB with bleach water/vinegar 7.wait 20 mins for air to settle 8.inoculation
is that optimal? my friend uses gloves/tyvek sleeves/hair cover/face mask
with flame sterilizing the needle between jars
and yes I've watched the the "lets grow mushrooms videos"
