soaking grains pre spawning has stalled growth.

So I finally decided to give the grain soak a go to see if the hype was real. Well I soaked my grains 15 mins before spawning to a 50/50 horse manure, straw mix. I believe it added extra moisture and as a result made my sub a little too wet. Now its stalling. My tub is about 90% colonized, but their are a few spots that just don't seem like they will ever finish colonizing. Its been 14 days since I mixed the grains and 50/50 mix.
Anyone have and tips or tricks to help this finish its colonization? Would adding light to the mix help while its still in GE stage?
Should I start fruiting and hope that the final bits will colonize? I'm going on a trip here very soon, and that is why Im eager to get this thing going. If I have to leave before its finished, I could lose the whole thing.

It was probably too moist too begin with or something else is causing it. I've been soaking my grains for every tub for the last couple months and haven't had one stall.

I would just put it into fruiting now, it's not going to hurt anything if it's 90%. It'll fruit.

I might be mistaken, but I swear I've read, from multiple sources, that light is found to be beneficial during all stages of growth.

yeah, that is true. I'll probably keep in GE, and add a little light for another day or so before fruiting.
Hopefully someone who has had this issue could weigh in for me.

Whilst some light is meant to be good at all stages I doubt it's the prob yr decribing

I honestly don't think it's a contamination. All is possible, but I think it was too wet and as a result was heavy and compacted a bit. So overly wet and compressed equals slow growth. I just really wanted a good pin set, but I guess I'll have to settle for good enough.
Anyone else have any ideas?
