1st time grower healthy mycelium (yellow discolorations possible water damage)
    #18834198 - 09/12/13 08:27 PM (10 years, 4 months ago)

i have looked on every search engine for the past 3 days and have not found any documented cases like this one.

here is some info on the jar
it is about 3 weeks old
1 of 5 jars others show similar signs.
the yellow and orange spots have never been independent of the mycelium growth the yellow has always followed it.
is it a infection and if so is there no hope.
inoculated using mycelium and not spores

That image hosting site blows goats.

Use the shroomery. Your jars look fucked.

will do, but do you know what it is? i would agree that it is a mold or bacteria except it never started in a single spot but sprouted up all over. is that unheard of for contams?

It looks like a couple of different bacterial infections. I see pink and yellow.

Is there a smell?

No funky smell, if i remove the pink will it be fine the yellow might be metabolites (im unsure if thats the correct word). What are my options here? Ps: thanks for the quick reply.

I can't even view any of the pictures even with the links. Reupload them here so we can see what you have.

I think you're growing a mold cake there.

Aye they look fine to me man. Keep that shit and reach the cosmos

Actually you can just eat the cake, man. The spores contain more psilocybin than the actually shrooms. But be careful because it's super potent.

What the hell?

I'm not sure if it's contaminated or not, but do not listen to this guy.

DO NOT listen to Christian.  He must be on drugs.
DO NOT open those in your house.
If you want to keep the jars, I have read that you can boil the jars (put the whole thing in the pot) for an hour and then dump/flush the gunk out.  I would start over my friend and try and figure out where you went wrong.  GL
