 Closed eye visuals? But I didn't take anything...

When I close my eyes at night I can sometimes see complex and or geometric patterns (shapes are common) that change color(nothing bright, mostly black into gray, and vice versa) and almost always moving, almost like a screensaver for my eyes.
But this isn't from taking anything. I think it mostly occurs when I have pressure on my eyes(laying face down in a pillow or rubbing of my eyes) and or when I'm holding my breath(it used to be a habit of mine to sleep face down in my pillow with just my mouth sticking out of the bottom while I would hold my breath for short periods of time, I found this to be relaxing but I rarely do it anymore).
- Would you consider these closed eye visuals?
- Does anyone else experience the same thing?

i know exactly what your talking about, i think its something everyone has, Close your eyes and apply pressure and concintrate, you can see them anytime you want, kinda cool.

its the electricity in yur eyes them sparkles are electric sparks dude yur whole body runs on electricity i bet you new that though. also you can have visuals if you deeply meditate but its not anything like being on drugs i think its better.

when i was in grade school i would close my eyes for a while and press on them and see some weird flashes and then after a little while id see all these colorful patterns spinning around
it was very trippy now that i think about it

yea, i still can get OEVs and CEVs too sometimes, especially for like the first few days after a trip. all you have to do is look for it and it comes, its very suttle, but i can still see it sometimes. Its great!

pressing on your eyes puts pressure on your retinas, and they fire off random stuff, which your brain interperates into geometric patterns and tunnels and what not.
I used to get CEV's of flashing black and grey landscape, kinda hard to explain. I'd get them laying in bed, and they'd arrive concurrently with a strange emotion that had nothing to do with my conscious thought patterns. It was cool but oftentimes distracting, and I remember not likeing it.

I got my braces taken off on wednesday, and while my orthodondist was prying them off and polishing my teeth (the part that hurts) I had my eyes closed the whole time, and I could see balls of light that were in a distinct pattern. the background was brownish red and the balls of light were white, and they seemed to change postition if I stared long enough at them.

A way of getting visuals too: (pretty DAMN sick, but I did it though), with both of your hands, stop the bloodstream to your head completely, for 5 secs or so.. result: tingling feeling everywhere, visible noise, audio echoing and RRRRRRRRRRRRRinging

Well I kind of get weird flashes of blue and green, the same type you get from a pill come down. But this usualy happens when staring at a TFT flat screen monitor for hours on end.
