These are growing in a pile of mulch. My brother made a comment that they may be "magic" since there is manure but I've never seen them so big. Either way I'd love to know what they are.

definitlty not a psilocybe with those white gills
probly not magic, but they look cool though
ans as always, wait for the t.i.
also just because they grow in manure dosnt mean they are magic, tons of non magic, and even some poisonous mushrooms are dung lovers
and those look like they are eating the wood mulch anyways

I didn't see any gill shot. Did I miss a link?
OP, you'll also need to post larger pictures, preferably directly uploaded to the site.

Thanks for the quick replies. I didn't think it was as most "magic" ones seem to run much smaller than that.

Compare with Lepiota cristata or something similar.

I think that's what they are as they also have quite a stank to them. They remind me of boobs.

I hope its the appearance and not the smell that does that!

I think Luecoagaricus meleagris is a closer match.

Very well could be. Did they stain or bruise pink when handled darkwoods?

Could be that too. I considered L. americanus but the scales are so fine. Generally, It seems the L. americanus have much larger coarse scales on the cap.
I don't think we will ever really know though... I'm pretty sure the OP saw they were not drugs and wont be returning any time soon.
