depending on weight your canine probably only needs 1. Bee stings for dogs are mostly ok. He/She probably just cannot spell properly and thus acts funny. Your dog will be fine.

sending good love/healing vibes to your dog.

Should be fine mine copped one in the corner of her eye, just give her a day or two and if the dog gets worse go to a vet.

Take it for a walk, dig a hole, throw a treat....ha ha

Calm down everyone.  Just joking.

Seems odd a bee sting would affect him that much.  Sounds like it could be something else.  I hope he feels better man.

I did have to take away one of those absorbent things that are in packs of meat from him the other day---I hope it aint like a blockage or some shit---im leaning toward the bee sting thing though--I tore down a monster wasp nest the other day they are around my house pretty prevalent and that bump showed up at the same time he felt bad--I mean its a good sized bump and not like a puppy bump and its tender---I mean how does a dog act when they get popped by a bee--is it like a totally harmless/totally horrible kinda thing---or can they get like kinda sick for 2-3 days--either way if this is what it is hes having some kind of reaction and I will have to look into keeping an epipen or something---they say sting allergies get worse the more times you get hit over the years---kinda like a cumulative thing

Seriously bro this happened to my dog. He wont eat because he cannot smell it properly, if you are worried though. Go for it and take him. I know that your dog will be fine if you do not though. and 1 benadryl a day is ok. I thought you meant you had given him 2 at once.

Any allergy can change over time.  I never had them growing up, now I do.
I'm guessing said dog is the one in your sig?  He's not very big, so I guess a sting or two could affecthim.  My biggest concern would be making sure the bump doesn't get infected

My brother has a dog like that.  I didn't know what to think of him.  I had to take his car, a 1966 Oldsmobile dynamic 88 convertible and his dog out to Austin.  It was a fun ride and that dog was a cool little fucker.  Though at my mom's, he did eat horse poo balls.

My dogs just got stung by a shitload of something. We think they stumbled into a hive while chasing after a ball. We ended up having to go to the vet because it was really really bad, they were scratching so much they were bleeding and very clearly uncomfortable.

Here is what we did until we could get them in :

Shave the affected area with clippers and clean with a surgical scrub. Did not give benadryl as I had leftover dog steroids from a couple months ago when one got a "hotspot". I would've given an antihistamine otherwise. I also rubbed calamine lotion on the area, not sure if this helped, I think the moisture actually made it itchier. In the past I have been told otc cortisone cream is okay to give(http://www.vetinfo.com/cortisone-cream-for-dogs.html).

It was obviously much worse than just a sting and the vet shaved them even more(revealing a bunch of other stings all over their body), gave them both steroid shots and prescribed us more pills for them.

p.s.

the biggest thing is the dog scratching so much that the sting cannot heal, if he's continuously scratching and it turns into an open bleeding wound, go to the vet.

hey yall it seems for now my little feller is going to be OK---that sting/bite or whatever really threw him off---I doubt he learnt his lesson though---he is a dashchund and if any yall know they are bout some hardheaded dogs---if he got popped by 5-10 I think I would have had a real problem---he did definitely have a "mild" reaction but a reaction nonetheless---I believe I need to look into keeping a doggie Epipen around for such occasions?? whatchaw think??---and thanks for all the support guys---man I love this community---peace yall
