An Agaric refers to pretty much all mushrooms with gills. Agaircus is a genus of mushrooms.

i know, and thank you. i just wanted it identified. i know what a Genus is, and i know that there are many different species that branch into other forms. i get it. i am no mycologist, just a cautious guy who loves all mushrooms. it would however be nice to stumble across some in a field at 3 o clock in the morning. but i am trying to pass my courses, so no dark cold walks for me. just random mushroom collecting and analyzing

Thanks Tim. I see now in the first pic, pics three and four look very much like corts or at least three doesnt seem to show fibrils on the cap, almost looks like a different species of Gymnopus. but yes, thanks.
