You asked for them. And these were just quick searches, I have files of these. Notice the range of sources...
I will also say that one could easily spend time searching links that oppose the ones on offer below. One cannot however find opposition to the detriment to the use of gov't coercion as a business model, the damage of patent law and the threat of food sovereignty.

I'm not saying North America is the main problem. I think the american food system is messed up, but not the main issue. It's pretty impractical to fly food from america to africa in choppers.
Let Africa solve it's own food problems. It doesn't take 'choppers' flying food in to the 'poor helpless Africans' (I'm not indicating that's your belief, just illustrating that it definitely is a belief that exists). If Western 'democracies' would stop propping up African dictators and fomenting conflict perhaps the adults in Africa would have an opportunity to figure out their own food systems.

And yes, the product from monsanto does have higher yields, probably as a result of selective breeding.
So, just to be clear, Monsanto doesn't do 'selective breeding'. They transgenically modify organisms - taking genes from one species and putting it into another - that's a vastly different technology. Most of Monsanto's work is with regard to pesticide and herbicide traits, neither of which would have any effect on yield. The higher yield traits come from breeding, mostly done in universities. Monsanto uses the germplasm of these high yielding varieties (most likely bred by university scientists funded on taxpayer dollars), insert their own traits and then get a patent for the plant.
Monsanto are working on drought tolerant species, which could produce higher yields but are not exactly showing promise...

Because Monsanto, along with it's former employee-turned-U.S. gov't-lawmakers use coercion to force their way into foreign ag departments.

I don't think I could ever use a Monsanto product and feel comfortable about it. Their policy has no regard for human life at the best of time and agent orange is a perfect example at how indifferent they are towards human suffering or just how completely inept they are at what they do.
Monsanto are just a little bit to evil and profit obsessed for me to comfortable use or advocate the use of any of their products
If you are sensitive THEN DO NOT scroll down and check the pictures!

Well, The Daily Show corespondent was taking on the role of the ironic Monsanto defender, but at the end of the bit the last words were "Monsanto, please don't sue us!" I'd say they were portraying Monsanto in not the greatest light.
