Hygrocybe, something like H. singerii or H. conica.  What part of the world did you find it in?

I'd think its H. conica then, unless someone else knows of other European species in this group?

"The genus Hygrocybe" Boertmann

"I have not studied material referred to H. riparia, H. veselskyi, H. cinereifolia, or H. conic var. minor. According to the descriptions, these taxa deviate only in colour or fruitbody size, and have no unique microscopical features. They might be recognised at forma level, but the whole conica complex is in need of molecular studies and a thorough revision..." pg. 170

I think H. conica is the best name for it.
