First flush pics and questions about it

Well needless to say, I'm happy as a mushroom in manure!
I have a few questions on the attached pics. These are all Hauatlas, notice the small black capped ones that are pointy? Aborts through and through I think, right? I'm going to let the other guys grow to a medium size as I noticed these ones get HUGE before veil break and I'm not doing prints or looking for maxium growth; I'm looking for maxium PUNCH.
The other question other than aborts is about lighting. I'm noticing all the growth on one sode of the cakes. See where my lights are? Could it be like the other side of the cakes is the "dark side"?
I'm not looking for any thoughts on how big my flush is or how I should have done x,y and z different guys. This was my first grow ever and I'm happy, let me stay that way lol.

You see all that ariel mycelium? Get more FAE.. And why don't you have any holes in your SGFC?

I have one hole for a fishtank air pump set on 2x a day 45 minutes. They seemed to be growing fine. Will more FAE create more growth? And no offense, but your account is brand new, how much experience do you have?

I submit evidence that my current FAE seems to be working fine. This image is a combo of three pics taken in 48 hours. If more FAE will spawn growth I'm all for it, I just don't want any problems at this stage.

I would not be giving you advice about a certain Tek if I didn't have it under my belt.
Also yes more FAE will promote more growth if humidity is maintained.

Right right, I'm not trying to discredit you directly. I have seen several posts on here with Tek that is just plain wrong, like dead wrong. So I'm cautious. I'll jack up the airpump to 4x daily with 2 at 45 and 2 and 30.

No it's all good. Definitely not trying to spread false information and you are only trying to protect yourself. It's all good Just with this new schedule make sure the humidity stays intact.

Why not get rid of the air pump all together and make a SGFC which has been already proven over and over and over again to work better than any sort of automatic humidification setup ever.

The very tiny amount of heat from those lights is probably causing air movement and evaporation, extra fresh air exchange as well as light. The backs are exposed to a more stagnate environment.

The lights look like LED bulbs but either way the whole cakes are exposed to over-engineered conditions

It doesn't matter if they are glue ons or LED they create heat and will cause more air circulation. FAE was the wrong choice of words. He wants to known why all the shrooms are growing by the lights. Theres more air movement.
Edit im not saying they will be hot or even warm but just as myc generates heat so will those l ights. From reading around he needs to mist as the humidity guage is reading in the 70's & fan more for fae.
He wants to know why they are growing where they are growing.

My assumtion is better light placement then will correct the one side grow. I'm nervous about misting and the hunidity is usually 77-80 that was after a photoshoot so it dropped substantally.

I would be more nervous about not misting? What has made you that nervous to do the time tested researched way?

i second that. you want to follow tek that been used for years. shotgun terrarium works best and no pumps needed. also i prefer you to use 65k energy saving or gas lamp. pf tek is the best way to learn how to grow mushies and if you want to lear this hobby you should follow tek.. start small and after that go big

Well said, but I'm afraid advice isn't what his ego needed. It seems to be that it's better to grow less than you could have for cheaper with pride. Maybe he has investors coming over and a SGFC doesn't look tech enough

I'm not looking for any thoughts on how big my flush is or how I should have done x,y and z different guys. This was my first grow ever and I'm happy, let me stay that way lol.
So you know you're doing it wrong? If you knew your were going to build a proper terrarium next time then just say that?

I read the pf tek and the shotgun terr setup confused me a bit so I went with a premade package deal just to see if I could even accomplish growing in the first place. I'm all about advise and help but my simplest of questions was why they were growing on one side only. I do appreciate the help though and will double check the shotgun setup next time.
