Expert Opinions Needed! I'm concerned!

Hello all!
Been awhile since I've lasted posted, although I've still been lurking in the shadows, reading about everyone's experiences.
Anyways, I've recently started a new batch of cakes (4th time at it), and all has gone smoothly, though while they've been in their FC, I've recently begun to notice a few patches of yellowish tinting on the new mycellium. I was wondering if I should be concerned about this at all? Is it a contaminant, are they still good, and or is this just the "mycellium piss" I've read about a few times.

Also! How do my cakes look, I know that the bruising around the edges is due to dehydration/not getting enough water, but now that the new mycellium has been growing on them, I don't want to over-mist and risk them not starting pinning.

They're also on day 12 of being in my FC. I've been misting and fanning them very regularly, but I'm starting to lose my patience and am wondering if I've done something wrong this time.
Please any help would be phenomenal! Thank you Shroomery members for putting my mind at ease. :] (Hopefully!)

You're not getting enough moisture in your tubs. From the looks of the SGFC you should be getting plenty of FAE. It's a balancing act between the two. Try putting them in an open closet or somewhere that there is less air movement, as it will get plenty of FAE from the natural tide of the room while preserving some of the moisture. You don't want stagnant air though. You should be able to see condensation on the sides of your tub.

Get a nice ass sprayer bottle(dollar store lol) and wet up the cakes a little, get the sides of the sgfc.. the perlite... and the lid.. Also if you have holes on the bottom, elevate it so it can do it's job as a SGFC.
Anyways their hyphal knots are starting on like 2 of them. I see also either bruising and maybe a contaminate forming. If you feel ok with it.. take a sterile razor.. cut off the piece of the contaminated cake before it digs into it.. and wet and patch with verm.
Or you can let it pin and leave it be 'Cause you'll definitely get your first flush before the become useless.
Remember after every mist, to fan decently. Your call

Thank you guys for your replies. Anyone else have any ideas/thoughts?
I've also moved the FC into a location that will not be getting quite as much FAE without me fanning. Perhaps that will help?
It does appear that the mycellium is still spreading and appearing in more areas, but still no definitive bumps indicating pinning. Hrmmm. I suppose I just need to continue to be patient!
Any other opinions would be much appreciated!

There is no need to mist the walls and the lid of a sgfc. Just mist the cakes and the perlite until it is nice and damp. Then fan to promote evaporation. Don't mist again until your previous mist has evaporated.
Evaporation off the substrate is one of your pinning triggers
