so i started a great new job last week. im a groundsmen for a tree service company in nj.
on my way to work this morning i was running late as it was when i realize i got a flat tire and on top of that my spare is flat. so i def lost this job and i cant help but blame this entirely on my own selfish nature. ive been on suboxone for two days trying to get off heroin and keep my great job but as fate had it im fucked. things happen for a reason. and this happened because im a lazy selfish junkie with no responsibility and lack of self control. fuck me im stupid.

Don't let this be a bigger setback than it already is. Look at two days off of heroin as an accomplishment and keep it up. Call the job and explain that you have a flat tire. Apply to other places if you really can't salvage this gig. Don't use this as an excuse to start your habit back up.

If your boss can't understand that you had a flat tire he's a prick not worth working for.
