Google taking over the world?

This is just a thought...
Google is an infornational entity that grows nonstop each day as we all know. I was reading an article on one of its newish (not so new anymore) recently Google now, which to me just seems like a clear example of how Google easily can control people. It gathers information on usage and location and searches and activities and then give you information based on that. From what I understood it can tell you different things to do as well. Obviously in the end we choose weather to go to that recommended activity but its that easy to influence a person.
Is Google part of the illuminati or one of those big organizations controlling" the world?
Now I don't necessarily believe or disbelieve in these organizations because I simply don't know enough but it's something to think about.
Does what I say make sense and what do you guys think?

i think google is going to become the one world access point for anything.
the world is only going to get more and more heavily internet focused. google is the go to point for information or anything internet related.
then they have google maps, which they are looking at developing cars for that drive automatically around the entire world, without drivers.
they have google videos -- uploading every piece of film ever created.
google library -- same as above for books.
google is slowly but surely going to take over the world.
and im not even crazy. well i am crazy, but this is not crazyness.

They are making the world a better place by making communication more swift, life more convenient, and information more accessible.

I think the more communication is made accessible and the faster and more efficient we can travel the closer a world democracy becomes inevitable.
Google is aiding this transition by becoming the most efficient consolidator of information in history. It is helping to merge culture, humor, language and ideas.
Not saying Google is perfect nor are they not twisted in some ways however, what they are doing overall and what the internet is doing in general:
I wouldn't have it any other way.
Fuck the past, fuck the nasty bits of nature The future will be more fuckin awesome than now is which is already pretty fuckin' awesome

Why would you think that? Any basis?
Google is an internet company. The faster the internet people have, the more services they can introduce that take advantage of it. We only seen the tip of the iceberg in terms of what is possible on the internet Once the average internet speed moves up to 50/50 MBit/s, we will see entire new classes of tools and services.

No, they are a private company with incentives that flourish.
Taking over the world? What about space ? They're investors of Planetary Resources which wants to achieve asteroid mining.

I'm less worried about Google's plans for world domination and more worried about the rest of the corporatocracy's aims. Google has invested a bunch in renewable energies, and even tried to buy Tesla motors for a bit there. I'd rather Google lead the future than Yum! or Wal-Mart.
Unless theyre all in bed together.
