I assume its babyish to be squimish about eating mushrooms with larva in them? I mean, its not dangerous right If I were to pan fry some oysters and throw them on a burger despite being rittled with fly larva, whats the probleM?

Unless the bugs are poisonous then it should be fine. People eat bugs constantly in some places.

Just last week I had a lollipop with a scorpion in it. Have had cockroaches, centipedes and even fly pupae.

Odds are those are maggots.
Don't eat mushrooms crawling with maggots. Everything about maggots is pretty much bad for you

Find me a culture that consumes fly maggots. Wild-caught maggots. Please, show me a source for that
Every trusted member of the mushroom ID forum that replied to me has told me that mushrooms crawling with maggots should not be consumed raw nor made into tea.
Instead of questioning their collective opinion, I did not eat the maggot-laden gym I had in my possession.
Ask over there, they deal with wild specimens all the time.
Whether you want to or not is up to you. I'm sure it won't kill you (could it?) But it won't be good for you.

Not trolling. I generally enjoy eating insects. THe original post made it seem as though the insects in question were Fly Pupae, which are edible. Source

If you want the specifics, I'm sure google can help you out. I'm not too concerned about them myself. I don't eat fly maggots.

People starving in prisons in days gone (and probably in some shit holes in current days) cultivated fly maggots as a source of protein. I assume you are not in prison or starving?
Personally I would not eat a rotten mushroom and I would not eat a maggot. If you are going to make sure they are well cook
