I now weigh 165!

I used to be a nice ripped 185 which I really liked.

I am in the middle of a hypertrophy program but after this I am starting a strength program. I want to beef up a little again.

It's tough getting older. The fat stays but the muscle is harder to earn!

But hell, I am still at it!

I feel ya bro.  I'm 6'2". I used to be 210 with less than 5% body fat.  Now I'm in my mid thirties and weigh 190 with a higher body fat.  I'm still in great shape, but I used to be borderline beast. 
At one point my max squat on free weights was 515 for 2.  Then in my mid twenties I had a horrible surfing accident. Back always hurts now, so working out isn't as enjoyable.

I do still rock climb and go caving.  That helps maintain my strength. And I run everywhere I go (like from my car to home depot, etc.) and I recently got back into mountain biking. I know that will help.

So...try to find other activities you enjoy that will still do for your body what you want. Good luck.

Running/cardio is a major contributed for fastest caloric output. Do it at a pace you are comfortable with, and keep it for 20 mins. That'll attack the sweet spots where fat hides.

Don't forget more weights next day to compensate for muscle! :smile:

Don't forget about jump roping too!  Boxers do it for a reason.  15 minutes of jump roping will get your heart flying.  I also like to jump on the trampoline with my children. Kicks my ass, but also sometimes agitates my back.

Never tried jump rope...ill look into that. I need to spice up my workouts anyway. it's starting to feel like a routine again
